CVIBC's club competiton finals came to a completion on on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday 2/3rd of April 2011.

There were some dramatic finishes and upsets during the games being played across the weekend. The ladies singles final saw defending champion Lorna Phillips come from 20-11 to win 21-20 against Pam Jewel who was looking to make it a double after winning the pairs with Val Baker. Jordan Davies and Phil Carpenter powered their way past Chris and Dai Prosser in the pairs to stop them winning four in a row by defeating them 23-7. Angharrad Giblin and Jamie Lewis retained the club mixed pairs by beating Ross Owen and Maureen Tanner 23-11. John Cahill had a reversal of fortune having lost the 2 wood singles to Terry Elms earlier got his revenge by beating Terry in the 4 Wood singles in the afternoon game. The triples final was a one sided affair with the family trio of Paul, Dan and Chris Keating beating Jimmy Turner, John Cahill and Mark Jones 28-10. The retired pairs saw Terry Elms and Brian Breakinbury see off defending champions David Parker and Mel Jones 23-16. The Diane Lewis Memorial Mixed Pairs saw last years finalists Amy Williams and Dai Prosser get the result they were after by defeating Hannah Gardner and Ross Owen 26-9. The Open Mens singles final saw Phil Carpenter secure his double victory for the weekend by beating Dean Lewis 2 sets to 0.

18 yr old Amy Wiliams of Cynon Valley Indoor bowls centre has become the new WLIBA LADIES SINGLES CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS winner at Bodellwythan Castle on the weekend of 16/17th April 2011. She came through a strong feild of ladies singles champions from across Wales to lift the coverted title. Her 1st round game saw her defeat Marilyn Davies(Port Talbot) 7-1,7-2. Her next couple of games were much closer affairs as she edged out Denise Molan (Islwyn) 7-3,5-7,7-5 and Paula Summerfield (Radnor) 7-6,2-7,7-4. Amy then faced Caroline Taylor of Severn Valley and came through that game 8-9,9-2,9-5 and only Gemma Amos of the Heatherton Club from Tenby stood in the way of her lifting her first major Welsh title. This time Williams was in no mood for any close games and dispatched her opponant 9-4,9-1 to lift the Champion of Champions title. Afterwards Amy said that ' she never thought that she would win something like this but was literally over the moon'. Amy will defend her title next year.
